Making use of the lifting of restrictions decided to do the snowdon ascent with a few people from Mtb Britain forum.
What a beatiful day the sun was shining and nice and warm, only problem this also brought out all the walkers!
We went up the llanberris path as this is suposed to be the easiest way up.
I managed to ride a fair bit but there was also a lot of pushing and carrying not used to having to do that!
I only managed one fall up the way up trying to ride a steep step up and getting stuck half way.
There were some great views on the way up but unfortunately the cloud closed in while we were at the top.
The decent down the ranger path was good at the top part, once I used to the smell of burning brakes! The next bit was realy technical have to admit I whimped out of some bits and pushed the bike down. There other bits that were a carry as there was no way I was going to ride them!
There was another push up over another steep bit then down hill all the way to llanberris bunny hoppin the drainage gutters across the trail all the way!
A really good day but a bit too much stuff that was unrideable one to chalk off though riding/carrying/pushing to the top of the highest mountian in England/Wales
